Pope Francis establishes in this motu proprio, the Sunday of the Word of God, a day of reflection on the Word for all Christians. Responding to many requests from the people of God that the entire Church should celebrate in unity a Sunday of the Word of God, this document helpfully offers reflection and practical suggestions for celebrating this addition to the Church's calendar. With an additional comment from the President of the Pontifical Council for the Promotion of the New Evangelisation, Monsignor Rino Fisichella.
